- We’re seeking 3 enthusiastic volunteers to join our Parents’ Association committee (APE) starting June 1st, 2024.
- Time commitment, 2h per month.
What does the EFM do?
- Represents the French Binational stream at Caufield Junior College (CJC)
- Organises and subsidises After School Activities in French (CJC)
- Funds new resources eg. multilanguage library, new books and language incursions (Renown, CJC) eg. French Loop Theatre, Circus and Music programs.
- Organises and supports French cultural events in Melbourne (eg. Festival Francophone de l’enfance, French Film Festival, Xmas Market…)

Open roles
Vice President: Support the President and oversee committee operations within current regulations, act as a substitute when needed. Liaise with French authorities and partner organisation, assist with new and ongoing activities (eg. After School Activities).
Secretary: Manage communication, take minutes and ensure smooth record-keeping. Manage archives and liaise with local french associations (French Theatre of Melbourne, Association of the French Professors of Victoria, AFRAN).
Treasurer: Oversee the APE’s finances, budgeting and fundraising activities. Help us maintain financial stability and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Events Manager: Plan and organise fundraising events for EFM families and the wider community eg. Festival de l’Enfance, Casino Night, Movie Night as well as participation to partners’ events eg. Alliance Française Xmas Market and French Film Festival.
